The cost of the International Youth Exchange is an application fee of $300 U.S. Dollars.

We are pleased to offer the convenience of Paypal to our participants. Paypal is an online service that makes it possible to pay with a credit card. During the application process you will be directed to www.paypal.com.  At your preference, we also accept personal checks from a U.S. bank or direct bank transfers.

Great effort and resources are put into matching each youth. For this reason, please understand that we cannot process applications that are not accompanied by a payment. Thanks for your understanding.

We make every effort to find a match for each youth that applies. However, if an acceptable match is not found, 100% of the application fee is refundable.

Other expenses of an exchange include:

• An airline pass via your airline or ZED fare
• Spending money

Some words about spending money:

The host family generally will pay for expenses when the family does activities or meals together. When the two youth plan events alone, the visiting youth will pay for their own expenses; for example, going out for lunch, to a cinema or an amusement park.
