who is eligible

IYE is a program for families of airline staff. Relatives and friends of airline staff may also participate. 

• Youth, ages 14-19 years of age. Those older than 19 may be considered for exchanges.
• Youth who have an interest in experiencing a new culture.
• Youth who have a flexible attitude and a willingness to meet new people.

*Knowledge of a foreign language is not required to participate.
